Roadmap to Ext JS 4.0

We are approaching the end of 2010 and with it we look forward to a new year with great advancements in Ext JS technology. As you probably know the ExtJS Framework is going to be updated significantly as of version 4 to make the framework perform faster including new advancement. The ExtJS 4 family is going to have a new data model which shares many similarities with its counterpart in Sencha Touch and a brand new layout engine. Among many other new features announced by Sencha the new theme engine and a new theme called the Neptune are most notable.

Ext4Yii version 0.7 released
We are pleased to announce the second release of the Ext4Yii Framework. Among many additions and improvements, the Ext4Yii Framework version 0.7 provides the functionality to use customized ExtJS components and the ability to assign implied JavaScript values in Ext4Yii templates.
